Message from Jess
If you’re a lover of musicals, you’re likely aware that there are 525,600 minutes in a year, and now you may have the song “Seasons of Love” stuck in your head (you’re welcome). There are 1,440 minutes in a day and 10,800 minutes in a week. This weekend I was waiting for the start of a Pearl Jam concert with my oldest son Luca and we were playing outdoor Jenga. It hit me in the moment that these few minutes of playing with him would go into my memory bank as special and significant. While I often focus on the big memories, what I really treasure most are the simple moments of connection, and in fact, these are what make up a whole life.
Time is our greatest commodity. And for so many of us, myself included, I schedule my time in such a way that even a ten minute delay can radically change the course of my day. When I think about loving God and loving people with my time, what I need to hear is that there is truly enough time.
There is enough time to choose love with my actions. There is enough time to be present with the people I am with in the moment. There is enough time to use this sacred resource as a gift that represents God’s goodness to others.
I invite you to join me this week in conscious presence throughout your day. How can you be more present with the people around you? How might you use this resource to honor God and what does that shift in perspective look like for you?

This week our nursery’s outdoor play area is getting an exciting upgrade! We will be repairing the fence, adding a shade sail, and finally installing interactive musical flowers that we’ve had in storage. We look forward to our children having a special space to play outside!

Blueprint Missions Camp!
Calling all youth for our return to Blueprint Missions Camp this summer! Last year, our amazing youth had the opportunity to grow in faith alongside other youth groups, while putting a new roof on the home of a local family, and even going the extra step to landscape & paint their home as well. We can't wait to go radiate the love of Jesus in our city in this special way!
